Priced by calls at once, not by people

3CX is not priced per person. It is priced by how many calls can be happening at the same time, incoming, outgoing and internal together, because your team is never all on the phone at once. Ten people usually share far fewer than ten calls.

The one rule that turns that into a number: each size also covers a set number of users, five for every call on the smaller sizes and up to eight on the largest. So the size of your team sets the smallest licence you can have, and your busiest moment decides whether you need more.

Why Basic (Free)
Nothing you ticked needs a paid edition, and up to 10 people fit 3CX Basic (Free) on our hosting, with no licence to pay. Desk phones need Basic or above, CRM integration Pro or above, and the 3CX API AI.
Why 4 calls
3CX Basic (Free) carries 4 calls at once for up to 10 users: enough for 10 people.
Your provider's SIP trunk
Outside calls travel on a SIP trunk from your phone line provider. For all 4 calls to be outside calls at once, it needs 4 channels. Calls inside the company use none, and a smaller trunk caps your outside calls whatever the licence allows.

The basket opens with 3CX Basic (Free) and 3CX Cloud Hosting paid monthly. You give your free key from 3CX at checkout. Nothing is paid for until you say so.

When a licence, upgrade or renewal is ready
