Move your 3CX to TechAccess
Already running 3CX, through another partner or on your own? Moving it to us changes your 3CX partner, not the phone system: you keep your licence, your system and your number.
You keep your licence, your system and your number
Nothing about the phone system changes when it moves to us. The licence stays yours, with the edition, the size and the renewal date it has now. The system keeps its extensions, its menus and its web address. Your numbers stay with whoever provides them, on the same trunk, and your callers notice nothing.
What changes is who answers when something stops working, who reminds you before the licence runs out, and who you renew it through. That is the part a partner is for, and the part most people move for.
Two ways to move
Keep it where it runs
Your server or your cloud account stays exactly as it is, and we become its partner. You link the system to us, we confirm 3CX shows it as ours, and from then on support and renewals come through us.
Move it into our Nairobi cloud
A server of its own in a Nairobi data centre, on 3CX Cloud Hosting. You take a full backup and switch the old system off, and we restore the backup onto the new server with the same licence at the same 3CX address. Two systems on one licence fight over its address and phone lines, so the old one stays off, and the machine stays yours.
What it takes from you
Knowing who owns the licence
Every 3CX licence is registered to an email address in 3CX's Customer Portal. If you can sign in there and see the licence, it is yours, and you can link it to us yourself. If your old partner registered it under their own address, ask them to transfer it to your 3CX account first; we give you the wording.
For a move into our cloud, a backup and a time
A full backup of the system, and a quiet hour to switch the old system off. Your phones are off from the switch-off until the new system answers. Until then the old system carries on as it is.
A few clicks to link the system to us
- Sign in to the 3CX Admin Console.
- Go to Dashboard → System Information → Partner and select Link.
- Enter our reseller ID, 219881.
If the system is already linked to another partner, unlink the old partner first, or change the partner from the licence owner's 3CX Customer Portal. Nothing else on the system needs to change.
The best time to move
60 to 90 days before your licence renews. The system can be linked to us on any day, but moving in that window means the first renewal already comes through us, with time to spare before the licence would lapse.
If your system is on an older version of 3CX, we bring it up to date as part of the move.
What you get
Renewals in shillings
Priced in KES and paid by M-Pesa, Airtel Money, Pesalink, Visa or Mastercard.

A plan that says how fast an engineer in Nairobi picks up a problem, by how serious it is.
Reminders from people you can call
Before the licence renews, from the team that will renew it, on a number that answers.
Renewals ready when we say
Ready within 2 working hours, Monday to Saturday 9:00–17:00 EAT. Paid after hours, on a Sunday or on a public holiday? Ready by 11:00 the next working day.

Questions about moving
Do we lose any of the time we have paid for?
No. Whether the system stays where it runs or moves into our cloud as a Dedicated PBX, the same licence carries on to its renewal date.
What if our old partner registered the licence in their own name?
Ask them to transfer it to your own 3CX account first, and then link the system to us. It is your licence, and a transfer between 3CX accounts is routine. We give you the wording to send them.
Does anything change on the system itself?
No. It keeps its licence key, its web address and its configuration. Leave the address exactly as it is: the licence is tied to it, and changing it on a running system can take the phones down.
We have no partner at all. Can we still move to you?
Yes, and it is simpler: there is nobody to unlink. You link the system to us from its Admin Console, and we take it from there.
