Setup packages
A phone system is only as good as the way it was set up. Each package says what we build, how many of each, and how much engineering time goes into it, so you can hold it against any other quote line by line.

A visit to your site
When the work needs an engineer in the room, a visit to your site in Nairobi is bought with on-demand support.
How long it takes
The hours above are our engineers' time, not the calendar. On our Nairobi cloud, we aim to have your system ready for its first call within one business day of payment.
New numbers from your phone line provider take longer, because its application and KYC steps run on its own timetable, so it pays to start them first rather than leave them until the end. Replacing a system that is still in use? How we move you across.
Connect your CRM
Connected once for your phone system, on the Pro or AI edition. We connect it, match your people by their email address, test that calls are logged and new callers become contacts, show one person the browser extension, and hand it over in 30 minutes. Yours to arrange: putting the phone numbers in your CRM into +254 format, the CRM's own licence and any API add-on it needs to connect (Salesforce Professional, for one), and a Pro or AI licence for 3CX if you are on another edition. Once it runs, a Business or Premium support plan keeps it working; on Essential or without a plan, a fix is a remote incident. Every system 3CX connects to.
A CRM that 3CX maintains
Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Zoho CRM, Odoo, Pipedrive, Freshdesk, Zendesk, Bitrix24, Vtiger, ConnectWise, Kommo or Jetpack CRM
KES 15,000 once, excl. VAT (16%)
Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace
Your staff, contacts and calendars brought into the phone system
KES 10,000 once, excl. VAT (16%)
Any other CRM
HubSpot, Freshsales, Nutshell, 1C, or any CRM with a REST API. We scope it with you before you buy.

What we need from you
- A list of the people who need an extension, with their email addresses
- Who answers which calls, and what happens when nobody can
- Your office hours and the holidays you close for
- The numbers you have, and the ones you want
- The wording for your menu, or a note of what it should say
- The make and model of any desk phones you want to keep
- One person on your side who can make decisions
Once it is running, a support plan keeps it that way.
Questions about setup
Can we set it up ourselves?
Yes. 3CX can be configured by anyone with the time to learn it. A package is for when you would rather it was done once, properly, by someone who has done it many times. If you do it yourself, a remote incident covers the questions you get stuck on.
Which package do we need?
It follows your size and what your team needs. Quick Start covers up to 10 extensions, Business up to 25 with call queues, and Contact Centre up to 100 with reporting and a CRM. Anything larger we scope with you on the survey.
What if we need a little more than a package includes?
Add what you need rather than moving up a package: ten more extensions, voice prompts recorded for your menu, a GSM gateway set up, or an extra hour of training. A visit to your site is bought with on-demand support.
Is setup ever free?
Quick Start is free with a yearly 3CX Cloud Hosting subscription. A system on your own server or in your own cloud, or a licence on its own, pays for its setup.
Are desk phones included?
The Business and Contact Centre packages include setting up IP desk phones; Quick Start sets up the apps on computers and mobiles. The handsets themselves are bought separately.
How long until we can make calls?
On our Nairobi cloud, we aim to have your system ready for its first call within one business day of payment. New numbers from your phone line provider take longer, because its application and KYC steps run on its own timetable, so it pays to start them first.
