Security and reliability

Two-factor authentication
For the people who administer the system, and for staff where you want it. An extension password on its own is not a control.
Remote phones without holes in the firewall
A session border controller brings deskphones at a branch or at home onto the system without opening your network to do it.
Backups, and certificates that renew
Scheduled backups, so a failed server is rebuilt from the last backup rather than from nothing, and certificates that renew themselves so nobody is surprised by an expiry.
